Chubby cheeks and thighs oh my

So we went to the Dr. yesterday. Charlie was weighed and measured. She weighs 12.2 lbs and is
22 and 3/4 inches long. I don't remember exactly what her head was but it was large. But don't worry she is proportional. She is above average on all of her percentiles. She has just now caught up to Ryder in length but that is okay. We will let him be the huge one and she can be the dainty little girl amongst her brute cousins. We also got her second round of shots and it was pretty awful for us both. I have never seen tears fall from her eyes until yesterday which in turn made me cry as well. Three sticks is a lot for an adult let alone a baby. Once I got her calmed down she went right to sleep in her car seat after the ordeal. Her little legs were hurting so we slept a lot of the afternoon. But in the evening was back to her smiley self. Today she slept a lot as well. I knew she didn't feel 100% so we scrapped the schedule today, it would have been futile anyway. I am hoping she goes to sleep tonight though. I am listening to her fuss as I type this saying a small prayer that she will sleep. It is a common thing that people say how she is so tiny. So below I have the pictures to prove that she is growing some rolls.

Don't be fooled, there are more hiding under the diaper

Here is a war wound

One last note:
I was a little overwhelmed with picking a Dr. Many of the people I knew recommended someone but those places wouldn't accept our insurance. So I called our insurance and asked for a list of names that were covered. The lady asked me if I had a pen, and I said I was ready. She said, "first name is spelled xwtdkgle last name hodeurkdes", or something similar. This continued for eight names. I was really taken aback because I am usually good at foreign names due to extensive traveling and I was struggling. After the eighth name I asked her if she had any names I could pronounce. She said Julie Cheng and I said, "I'll take it!" She gave me the number and I made an appointment. After I did that I looked online to see what the practice called The Joshua Medical Center was all about. The tag line said it's more than medicine, it's a ministry. They are a Christian organization that supports 4 missionaries in East Asia from their revenue. The other pediatrician was in pictures visiting them and being involved in the work. I was so blessed to see that even though I had picked her as a shot in the dark, God had lead me there for a reason. I really loved Dr. Cheng and am so at peace that we are going there. This is just one way that God has been leading us. Praise God from whom all blessings flow!
PS she went to sleep :)
